The company is managed by three directors each coming together from different backgrounds and experience. All directors are committed to providing a professional service for our client’s needs and have the determination to provide a secure and successful working environment for all staff.
The directors are:-
Andrew Wainewright BSc(Hons) FRICS
joined John Smith Associates in 1980 having gained local authority experience with Hampshire County Architects in Winchester. Andrew became a partner in 1987, gave impetus to the progressive structure and direction of the practice, was instrumental in forming the company and is now managing director.
Robert Archer MRICS
first joined John Smith Associates in 1985. After leaving to gain experience in building contracting, Robert returned to the practice in 1988 and achieved the position of associate in 1994. Robert became a director in 1998 and is now steering the project management, contract advice and dispute resolution services of the company.
Christopher Warwick MRICS
had comprehensive professional experience with his previous practices before joining John Smith Associates in 1997. He brought his specialist knowledge of healthcare projects to the practice and has proceeded to develop key niche service areas, particularly historic and listed buildings. Chris became a director in 2005.
