The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007 are now in force. These Regulations place greater responsibilities on a client from the inception of a project and encompass a greater span of construction activities.

One of the major changes from the 1994 regulations is the requirement for a CDM Co-ordinator to be appointed at the earliest possible stage in a project in order to assist and guide the client through their duties.

The requirements of the new role of the CDM Co-ordinator are similar to the combined roles of the old planning supervisor and a project manager. We envisage that we will be able to offer this as a single service.
